About the Role
The Property and Space Management team is recruiting for an additional Space Planner within the team. The role will be pivotal in supporting the delivery of projects, layout planning and technical support within the team through the production of CAD drawings, surveys and technical detailing.

This is an opportunity for a space planner to join a driven, dynamic team as we develop appropriate spatial solutions to support our Russell Group institution which along with academic excellence, highly values ​​diversity and social justice.

About You
We are looking for someone who:

  • Is highly proficient in using 2D AutoCAD for layout planning and is familiar with working to established CAD standards.
  • Is familiar with relevant legislation and guidance on space planning and design.
  • Has a high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues across the university.
  • Has the ability to integrate into an innovative and customer focused professional team.

The post is full-time (35 hours per week). Starting salary will be in the range of £29,082 to £35,775 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
