The Role and the Department

We are a friendly, busy team covering all areas of information governance including data privacy, information security and freedom of information.

The team is currently working on the University’s Information and Cyber ​​Security Strategy working closely with Computing and Information Services, as well as carrying out a range of business as usual tasks including providing advice, reviewing data privacy impact assessments and responding to freedom of information requests and data rights requests.

We are looking for individuals who are interested in working in this area (privacy, info sec, FOI) and would be happy to hear from bright motivated individuals who might be career changes, graduates or school leavers who are keen to learn about privacy, infosec and information governance as well as anyone with some subject matter expertise.
