Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Agriculture at Nottingham Trent University

The School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences is looking to recruit a new member of its team as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to support the school’s excellent teaching provisions and a range of engaging student-centred learning activities.

We are looking for members of industry or established lecturers with a passion for inspiring the next generation of farmers and agricultural workers. and while previous teaching experience is desirable, we welcome applications from those with experience in general UK agriculture who can provide insight and support to our students. We are particularly looking for individuals with experience working within the agriculture industry in positions such as farm manager, farm consultant, livestock specialist or soil scientist.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the Brackenhurst campus. The 200-hectare mixed farming estate creates an extensive outdoor classroom to deliver high-quality teaching and learning. With significant recent investments in laboratories and teaching facilities, glasshouses, and commercial farming facilities we believe Brackenhurst is a superb location for teaching our students.
