Lecturer in Design, Development and Realization at University of the Arts London, London College of Fashion

The Lecturer in Design, Development and Realization is responsible for teaching, curriculum development, and on-going scholarship on the Product Programme, in particular BA Fashion Sportswear.

This course is part of the School of Design and Technology at London College of Fashion. The post-holder will work collaboratively within a course team, deploying specialist expertise to develop pedagogy and the curriculum in innovative and critical directions.

Your profile

Your degree in clothing or fashion design or similar, will be backed up by proven experience of working in the industry. Being able to demonstrate traditional and creative approaches to 3D garment realization and pattern cutting, you will also have a flair for clear and inspirational communication, if not experience of teaching.

Confident with Microsoft Office, email and the internet, you will ideally bring knowledge of web 2 technologies, Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) systems, Lectra and Adobe Creative Suite.

Above all, you will need the enthusiasm to take 3D fashion technologies and problem solving to high levels of execution and creativity.
