Senior Teaching Associate at Lancaster University

Lancaster University’s School of Engineering seeks to appoint a teaching Associate to undertake teaching and supporting activities within the Electronic and Electrical subject areas and with a particular focus on digital signals processing, integration, interfacing and programming fundamentals.

The successful candidate should have a background in electronic engineering and be able to deliver high quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the subject areas listed above and will be expected to contribute to the curriculum of the school’s degrees. The role also involves pastoral care, guidance and progress monitoring.

Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent experience in an appropriate area with proven experience of teaching in UK higher education, and the enthusiasm and drive to carry out teaching in an exciting, highly professional, multidisciplinary environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to initiate their own teaching profile and work as part of a team, contributing to the development of the school’s teaching and learning activities.

This is a part time post at 0.30 FTE, available for an immediate start. You will join us on an indefinite contract however, the role remains contingent on external funding which, at this time, is for 24 months.
