The University Health Service is one of only two NHS practices in the UK to be fully integrated into a University. Our patient population of c40,000 is made up of students of the University of Sheffield, with approximately 40% of patients from international communities, and a small number of dependents.
Located in a bright and airy purpose-built building situated on campus, we are proud to provide a tailored service to our patients, and are committed to providing high quality care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to lead on the day to day management of our Data Quality Team and the coordination of the key components of the delivery of our NHS contracts, including Network Contract. You will provide support to the Medical and Clinical Directors and wider Clinical and Practice Management Team. You will manage and lead the Data Quality Team to carry out clinical coding, practice administration processes, process improvements and audits. You will support the Practice to achieve Primary Care Network Direct Enhanced Service (DES) requirements, QOF, enhanced services and core contract requirements. You will provide strong management and organizational skills to enable the practice to meet its agreed aims and objectives for patient services and contract requirements at a Network and Practice level. Working alongside the Management Team, the post-holder will be involved in the development of service quality improvements.
If you think that you would be excited to be part of a team that works hard to improve the way that we work in order to deliver the best possible service to our patients, then the next step is to view the supporting documentation, the About the Job and About the University.
We’re one of the best not-for-profit organizations to work for in the UK. The University’s Total Reward Package includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
