Background

The Communications & Business Development team are a central service to the Union, producing Union Wide Campaigns, being insight experts on current student opinion and developing our retail/commercial services. The post will coordinate, develop and deliver membership research and insight activities across the organization. They will also support and deliver the collection, analysis and dissemination of student feedback through reports, policy papers and Sabbatical Officer support.

Responsibilities

The role holder will coordinate, develop and deliver membership research and insight activities across the organization. They will support and deliver the collection, analysis and dissemination of student feedback through reports, policy papers and Sabbatical Officer support. In addition they will contribute to organizational strategic and operational planning by ensuring departments across the Union understand available and relevant insight.

Person Specification

The role holder will have relevant market research experience as well as experience of project planning and project management, using web content management systems and using data to guide decision-making and delivery. They will work with sensitive information will respect for data protection legislation. Knowledge of issues affecting students in Higher Education would be advantageous.
