HR Business Support Coordinator (EDI Training) at University Of The Arts London

UAL is looking for a Business Support Coordinator to join the diverse and talented People Strategy hub team within HR. This is an exciting time to be joining UAL; We have a new University Strategy, and the new People Strategy will be launched imminently. Anti-racism, Inclusion, Social Purpose are core UAL priorities and the People Strategy hub will be focused on these areas to support staff and students to reach their full potential.

The Business Support Coordinator (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Learning and Training) role will support the Staff Development team with the organization, planning and administration of learning and development events, primarily relating to equality, diversity and inclusion and the university’s anti-racism program role -out project. The role will also support the Staff Development core program offering, as well as providing generalist administrative support to the wider HR team. This role would suit an individual who has prior experience or who is aspiring to work in a learning and development capacity, and who also has an interest in equality, diversity and inclusion.

Your profile

You pride yourself on delivering high-quality, supportive customer service to multiple stakeholders across different professional levels. You will be able to manage multiple strands of work at any one time and be able to prioritize these frequently depending on customer and business needs.

You will be comfortable in delivering administrative support across different areas such as information systems, project support, correspondence, data management and logistical administration.

The role is very much customer facing, so building relationships is crucial as well as understanding the nature of fast-paced working environments.

Previous experience or an interest in Staff Development particularly in higher education or creative education would be an advantage.
