VLE Project Manager

Salary from £37,197 to £44,802 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £48,168 pa inclusive of London allowance

This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months

The LSE Extended Education unit provides academic leadership and support for a range of qualifications offered as University of London Programmes, including degrees and diplomas in Economics, Management, Finance and the Social Sciences (EMFSS). With more than 15,000 students across the world, studying for a wide range of undergraduate-level qualifications, the University of London Programmes provide a significant financial return to the school.

We seek a Project Manager with experience of working with Virtual Learning Environments, ideally within the Higher Education Sector or similar academic environment.

The post holder will work with a third-party provider to design and build a new Moodle platform that supports the objectives of the EMFSS Program to increase student engagement with the learning resources available to them. They will also act as the key liaison between the third-party provider and LSE academics in the creation of video content for educational purposes and as such will need to organize a production workload across several projects at the same time. In addition, they will need to quickly develop strong working relationships with academic colleagues and stakeholders and use report writing skills to prepare regular written updates to the Project Board.

You will be part of an ambitious, responsive and proactive team, working closely with the Head of Quality and Assessments and the Learning Technologist.
