Senior Admissions Officer at UCL

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Admissions Officer to work in our central admissions team, which manages applications to postgraduate programs across UCL. Duties will include key aspects of graduate admissions administration; the management of a team of admissions staff; agreeing selection criteria with academic colleagues; assessing and making selection decisions on applications against agreed criteria; reviewing complex fee status cases; and preparing documentation to support applicants applying for a visa through the UK Visas & Immigration points-based immigration system.

The successful candidate will have experience of admissions in a higher education setting. The appointee will have excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work under pressure. The nature of the work requires an individual with good interpersonal skills who can successfully work in a team.
