An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advisor to join our HR Business Partnering Team. We are looking for a confident, proactive professional who can problem solve people’s issues with ease and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where each day is different!
You will be responsible for managing case work, including sickness absence, performance and disciplines, as well as supporting managers to plan and implement restructurings.
We are also developing our use of HR data, so your role will include analyzing HR reports and liaising with the HR Business Partners to implement new initiatives. There will also be the opportunity to get involved in projects within the team that support our service and the People and Organizational Development directorate’s strategic objectives.
We would love for you to have experience of working in a higher education setting, with a drive to be part of an institution that has the student at the heart of everything we do.

Details about the role
This role is full time at 35 hours per week and permanent. We are currently operating a hybrid working model of 3 days on campus, and 2 days working from home covering the whole week. You will be based at the Technopark. Our newly opened Hub building houses some fantastic meeting spaces, as well as a canteen and a gym open to staff run by LSBU Active.
