The College of Business and Social Sciences is seeking a highly motivated and experienced administrator to provide full and comprehensive administrative support for its Undergraduate Degree Apprenticeship Programs.

These Programs are delivered mainly on-line with some on-campus attendance and you will be required to manage the processes involved in the operational delivery of Level 6 Degree Apprenticeships, including the organization of course related events such as student induction and on-campus study. days. The role will involve the administration of all examinations and assessments activities including preparation for and servicing of Examination Boards on a regular basis. You will work closely with the Degree Apprenticeship Program Directors to ensure the provision of high levels of service to students studying on the DA Programs and to provide advice and guidance on all regulatory and administrative matters relating to the delivery of our Degree Apprenticeship courses.

You will work as part of a wider team administering BSS MBA, Postgraduate Degree Apprenticeship and Online Programs and you will be expected to provide help and assistance with the administration of these Programs as and when necessary.

The successful candidate should be educated to degree level or equivalent and have experience of working in an administrative role in the HE sector, ideally with both student support and exams and assessments related knowledge. Excellent written and verbal skills are essential for the role, along with a proven track record of working in a customer focused position and event planning. The ability to work flexibly is essential as is the ability to manage tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision.

A high level of computer literacy with proficiency in standard office packages is required. Experience of working with SITS, Blackboard VLE and Collaborate is also desirable.
