Brewton-Parker College is currently seeking to fill a full-time staff position in the Division of Enrollment Services. Salary will be determined commensurate with academic credentials, experience, and other factors.
The College: Brewton-Parker College, tracing its origin to 1904, is a four-year, coeducational Christian liberal arts college accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, offering more than twenty areas of undergraduate study to a diverse population of about 600. residential students in the micropolitan setting of Mount Vernon/Vidalia in the South-Central region of Georgia. ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT OF ADMISSIONS AND RETENTION: An immediate opening, the Associate Vice President manages and supervises departmental functions and responsibilities including, but not limited to, planning, assigning and reviewing the work of subordinates under his/her direction, assumes responsibility for planning and recommending general departmental responsibilities, and exercises discretion and independent judgment with authority to make important decisions. The Associate Vice President works under the general direction of the Vice President for Enrollment Services and Athletics to develop recruiting and retention plans that will ensure that the college achieves the desired enrollment goals for new and transfer students as well as Dual Enrolled students.
Qualified candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience in enrollment services or related areas. Candidates must also have strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral skills for the development of progress/planning reports, brochures, and/or marketing plan, as well as maintain campus office hours and be able to travel for recruitment purposes.
